Battery and Charger
I got that model Tohasu motor because it was the largest size for the boat, had an alternator included, and could fit with the elevator mount, Have designed and procured some parts but have not yet installed a permanent electrical system. Still relay on individual batteries. The nav lights run on AAs. However, from my WR17, I do have a 10 watt solar panel, cable and 9 AH AGM battery for charging mobile phone and VHF radio. I mounted the solar panel with velcro for deck hold down with a line lanyard. The cable routes through the cabin top cover, to a ammo box that has the AGM and 12v outlet socket.
The velcro seems to hold pretty well, a least through all the bouncy rides so far. I did glue the deck strips with 6000 to adhere to the painted on non-skid un-eveness. The panel goes on after the mast is raised and comes off be for to de-rig the mast.
The cable snakes down to the cabin, starboard side. With adapters, can utilize the panel alone to charge the mobile phone. Else the battery charges during the day, and the phone and / or the VHF changes at night.
My hand held GPS uses AAs.
